PMI Annual Dinner 2008
|
This year’s Annual Dinner was held on Wednesday 6 February at
the Sheraton Park Lane Hotel. More than 330 people were present to hear PMI
President, Steve Delo talk about the current successes and continual exciting
changes underway at the PMI. |
 |
The PMI has positioned itself to meet the changing needs of the pensions
industry and many of the new initiatives are mentioned in the new
marketing brochure. There is an increased use of new web-based
technology and the commercial partnership programme has been
developing extremely well over the last year. Steve also mentioned how PMI TV
has proved a popular tool for members and there will be many more additional
services on the way… watch this space! |

The PMI Annual Dinner Drinks Reception was sponsored by
RPMI |
 |
|
PMI would like to thank RPMI for their involvement and being our first Dinner
Drinks Reception sponsor – this means a lot going forward and will pave the way for future
ventures. |
 |
|
Our departure from the traditional PMI Annual Dinner continued with our guest speaker
Barry Cryer OBE, who made an excellent after dinner speech. We would like to
extend our thanks to Barry for such an entertaining speech. It will prove a hard
act to follow next year! |
 |
|
For the first time, PMI included pre and post dinner drinks within the ticket
price to make things run even more smoothly on the night, leaving guests to
relax and unwind with their colleagues and peers. This proved a great success,
so much so that the PMI intends to continue with this set up for next year.

 |
The date and venue for the PMI Annual Dinner 2009 will be
announced in
due course.
