Retirement Provision Diploma (RPD)

Those passing Modules 101 and 200-205 of the current Advanced Diploma syllabus will be awarded the Retirement Provision Diploma (RPD).

RPD rewards and acknowledges the completion of the core pensions technical modules and forms a qualification in its own right.

RPD holders are expected and encouraged to go on to complete the Advanced Diploma.

RPD from 2008

From 2008 RPD is only awarded to those who have passed RPC and all 200 level modules (or equivalent under previous syllabus) or have claimed module specific credit under the accreditation of prior learning system.  However, it is not awarded to those who have non module specific credits from other qualifications in the accreditation of prior learning system.

RPD and the 100, 200 and 300 level syllabus

The syllabus was revised was first examined in 2006. Full details can be found in the Advanced Diploma section of this website. As a result of these changes the RPD has been awarded on completion of the 100 and 200 level modules. These changes do not affect those who already hold the RPD, having completed under the previous syllabus examined between 2002 and 2005 (ie Subjects A-E).
