Please read the instructions on this page and also the examinations page
carefully and ensure that your entry is received by the closing date.
October 2008 examination results
Any candidate awaiting October 2008 examination results which will influence the choice of Modules entered in April 2009 is advised to submit the April 2009 Examination Entry Form after the October 2008 Examination results have been issued. Additional examination entries cannot be accepted.

centres is shown below. There are some centres overseas, details of which
are available on request, but it should be noted that special fees and
earlier closing dates may apply.

Acknowledgements
All examination entry forms will be acknowledged. Please make sure you have received an acknowledgement of your entry prior to the closing date for entries.
Closing Date
It is the responsibility of the individual to ensure that a completed
Examination Entry Form and the appropriate fee have been received at the
Institute by the closing date of 23 January 2009 for the April examinations.
Only those applications received complete applications by this date will be
accepted.
Students in the Republic of Ireland
Those in the Republic of Ireland are reminded
that the Irish Institute of Pensions Managers offers separate Irish version examinations. Entries for
these examinations should be made on a separate entry form which can be
obtained from the IIPM at 39 Molesworth Street, Dublin 2. (Tel: 01 662
0320).
To sit examinations in April 2009 please do the following:
- download the examination regulations and Examination Entry Form
- read the examination regulations and complete and sign the Examination Entry Form draw up or have drawn up a cheque or arrange payment via BACS or credit card to cover the examination fee
- send the completed Examination Entry Form and cheque to PMI by first class post or Recorded Delivery
- make a note to check that you have received your examination acknowledgement
prior to the closing date in order that there is time for another entry to
be submitted if the original has gone astray in the post.

Withdrawal from examinations
A sum of £90 per module will be refunded provided that notice of
withdrawal is received by the Institute no later than 23 January 2009.
A sum of £50 per Module will be refunded where notice of withdrawal is
received by the Institute between 24 January and 1 April 2009.
A candidate who is absent on account of illness from all modules entered
will be entitled to a refund of £70 per module provided that an
application for such a refund is supported by medical evidence and reaches
the Institute by 1 June 2009. Refunds cannot be given under any other
circumstances.
Publication of results
Results are despatched to candidates as soon as they are available. The Institute reserves the right to publish examination results whether successes or failures. The Institute will not communicate results to a candidate's employer.
