Pensions Terminology

It is now some 27 years since the first edition of “Pensions Terminology” was produced. It was developed to encourage all pension practitioners to speak the same language.

There have been regular reviews since, as the number of terms have increased requiring definition and explanation. This reflects the continuing and increasing complexity of the subject, as well as the quantity of legislation which surrounds it. The current, 7th edition, was produced in 2007.

Details of how to order copies, including electronic copies, and access to the online version are below.

Comments from users are always welcome.  If you do have any comments, please send them to: Gillian King at gking@pensions-pmi.org.uk

Terms from 2002 edition

A list of "old terms" from the 2002 edition can be found here.  It was felt that these terms were not current enough for inclusion in the glossary but were not yet ready to be completely deleted.

Pensions Terminology is available at £15 per copy or £10 per copy when ordering 10 or more.
