In late 2003 independent Trustees joined together under the
auspices of PMI to form the Independent Pension Trustee Group (IPTG).
Membership of the IPTG is on an individual basis and is open
to all who operate as Independent Pension Trustees and agree to abide by the
Code of Guidance. Once signed up, members are then part of a network which
offers discussion forums, regular mailings, (including electronic copies of PMI
News each month) and support. All members of the IPTG
appear in the publicly available membership list and also have access to a
dedicated series of workshops.
The elected Committee members are: Susan Andrews
(chair), Nigel Hill, Rodney Jagelman, Joanna Matthews, Maralyn Thomas and Peter
Thompson and the PMI representative is Roger Cobley.
Nearly 150 independent trustees are now members of the Group. If you know of someone who would be interested in joining the IPTG please draw this website to their attention.
