PMI's risk governance workshop findings

At the recent Manchester Professional Pensions show, the PMI ran a Risk Governance workshop for trustees which focussed on Investment risk, Legal risk and Admin risk from both perspectives – the sponsoring employer and the trustee board.

Following the presentations, a very lively case study ensued which considered how a hypothetical company Chaos Plc was exposed in each of these three areas and the immediate steps that both the employer and the trustee board needed to take.

The Case Study hypothesis and the actions agreed by the delegates who attended on the day can be viewed below, along with the three speakers’ slides for reference.
