| Analysis of trustee attitudes |
Baker Tilly, in association with Professional Pensions, undertook a yearlong industry-wide survey into pension scheme governance.
The three part survey, of over 1,000 respondents, covers trustee knowledge and understanding (TKU), the stability of trustee boards, scheme funding, sources of trustee information, and that all-important question: Should trustees be paid?
In addition to each wave of research, three roundtable discussions probe leading industry experts on the results, the role of and incentives for becoming a trustee and the future of trusteeship.
The supplement summarising the findings from these surveys formed part of the research for a Government White Paper and was requested by the Department of Work and Pensions and the Pensions Regulator.
