Awards in Pension Trusteeship
These Awards have received accreditation from the Qualifications & Curriculum
Authority (QCA) at level 3, within the national Qualifications and credit
Framework.
They
replace the Trustee Certificate of Essential Pensions Knowledge and Financial
Adviser Certificate.
The structure of the awards is shown below. It is necessary to pass all three
units (although not necessarily at the same time) to be awarded the full
qualification.

The Pensions Regulator has developed an e-learning programme to
meet their Trustee Knowledge and Understanding requirements.
All people planning to enter for the examinations are
recommended to work through the e-learning programme at

Certificates
Successful candidates will receive a final Qualification Certificate once
they have completed all 3 units. These are normally issued after the
results are confirmed.
Candidates also receive a Certificate of Unit Credit for each unit they pass.
