PMI Learners case study form

Thank you for agreeing to share your experience of studying for a PMI qualification. These questions are designed to help us understand your personal learning journey, including what motivated you to begin, how you approached your studies, the challenges you faced, and the impact the qualification has had on your confidence, career development and day-to-day work.

We are particularly interested in real, practical examples: moments where the qualification helped you feel more prepared, supported or professionally recognised; how flexible study options, exam sittings, learner support or feedback helped you keep progressing; and whether your experience has opened up new opportunities, strengthened your knowledge or helped you contribute to higher standards across the pensions profession.

Please answer in your own words and feel free to include specific examples, reflections or advice that would help someone who is considering a PMI qualification, preparing for an exam, returning after a setback, or looking for the next step in their professional development.

You will notice that three questions are mandatory. However, we would greatly appreciate it if you could answer as many of the remaining questions as possible, as this will help building a more complete picture of your experience and learning journey.
