XPS becomes PMI Development Partner to strengthen professional standards and support learner success
The Pensions Management Institute (PMI) has welcomed leading UK consulting and administration business XPS Group as its latest Development Partner.
The move reinforces a shared commitment to delivering stronger saver outcomes by raising standards across the pensions profession and supporting more effective learning and development.
The PMI Development Partner programme is designed to help employers better support colleagues studying PMI qualifications by providing enhanced visibility of learner progress, helping organisations identify where additional support may be needed and encouraging successful qualification completion.
Through the partnership, XPS will gain access to PMI's online dashboard, providing enhanced visibility of both student memberships and learner progress through PMI qualifications. The additional management information will enable the business to identify where learners may benefit from additional encouragement or support, helping colleagues stay on track with their studies and improving qualification completion rates.
The partnership forms part of XPS's wider commitment to investing in its people, strengthening technical expertise and supporting long-term career development within the pensions profession.
Varsha Gicas, Chief Customer Officer at the PMI, said:
"The Development Partnership programme is already making a major difference to how thousands of employees access our qualifications and support, and so we're delighted to welcome XPS on board. Employers play a vital role in developing the next generation of pensions professionals, and partnerships like this help create the supportive learning environments that enable individuals to thrive and progress in their careers.
"By giving organisations greater visibility of learner progress and helping them provide targeted support, the Development Partner programme can improve engagement, increase qualification completion rates and contribute to higher professional standards across the industry. We look forward to working with XPS to support its colleagues' development and continued success."
Rachel Gillion FCIPD, HR Director and Partner at XPS, said:
"Becoming a PMI Development Partner is an important step for XPS and reinforces our commitment to investing in our people and the future strength of our business. Professional qualifications are fundamental to developing the pensions expertise our clients depend on, and this partnership will enhance the support we provide to colleagues throughout their studies.
"Access to PMI's online dashboard will give us greater visibility of progress and enable us to provide targeted support where it is needed most. Ultimately, it strengthens our ability to develop talented professionals and deliver the technical excellence our clients expect from XPS."
By increasing the number of professionally qualified employees across the business, XPS aims to strengthen its internal talent pipeline, support career progression for colleagues and continue delivering the high-quality service and technical excellence expected by clients.
The arrangement will also ensure colleagues have access to recognised learning pathways and industry-leading qualifications that support both individual career ambitions and the evolving needs of pension schemes, employers and the wider market.
XPS also sees the partnership as an opportunity to further demonstrate to clients and prospects its commitment to developing qualified pensions professionals and maintaining technical excellence across its teams.
