We are working in conjunction with Factito, our accredited training partner, who will be using their qualified assessors and moderators to review learners' portfolios.

Level 5 - Experienced Pensions Professional Certificate (EPPC)

The PMI Level 5 Experienced Pensions Professional Certificate (EPPC) is an evidence-based professional qualification designed for experienced pensions administration professionals.

Overview

About EPPC

Unlike traditional qualifications, the EPPC does not require examinations or coursework. Candidates build a portfolio of evidence gathered through their day-to-day role, demonstrating technical expertise, practical experience, professional behaviours, and knowledge across key areas of pensions administration.

Who is this course for?

Experienced pensions professionals working within pensions administration roles who wish to gain formal recognition of their knowledge, technical expertise and professional competence.

Learning support

As this is a portfolio based assessment, whereby a learner gathers evidence to meet the learning outcomes, learning support is not applicable.

Assessment method

Assessment is portfolio-based. Candidates collect evidence from their day-to-day role and submit completed units for assessment. Evidence may include work products, personal statements, observations, witness testimonies, training records, simulations and Recognition of Prior Learning.

Evidence obtained from Work Product can be no earlier than 1 year from the date of Candidate’s registration. All evidence must relate to the Candidate’s job and not any outside activities.

Cost

To sit this qualification, you must be a PMI Student member. If applicable, a £287 student membership fee will be automatically added at checkout when you register for the exams currently open for booking, no separate membership application is required. This will provide the membership until 31 Aug 2027.

Qualification structure

Qualification structure

There are 20 units in total across three stages, however, candidates only need to complete 11 units to achieve certification. These consist of: 7 mandatory Core Units; 3 Optional Units; and 1 Specialist Unit.

Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

Candidates maintain a CPD log throughout the qualification. Successful candidates achieve ProfPMI status subject to ongoing CPD requirements.
