Statement on TPR consultation on multi-employer Code of Practice

Helen Forrest Hall, Chief Strategy Officer at the Pensions Management Institute (PMI) welcomed the consultation and said:

“Giving savers access to a wider range of high-quality, value for money pension options is vital to delivering better outcomes. As the market evolves, it is essential that innovation is embraced. Multi-employer CDC schemes – like all innovative solutions – must however be underpinned by robust governance, financial security and strong member communications. The PMI has long supported the CDC model and will engage fully in the development of a multi-employer Code of Practice that expands choice while maintaining high standards that protect savers in this new retirement era.”
