The exam results for Autumn 2025 exams will be available w/c 20th October 2025. 

The qualification aim is to identify aspects of benefit provision which those involved in international employee benefits are most likely to encounter in dealing with expatriates, internationally mobile employees and local employees.

Assessment method

Note

As of Autumn 2025, all units that come under the DIEB qualification will be assessed via 80 multiple choice questions. Please refer to the DIEB specification under 'useful resources' for further information regarding how the exams will be assessed.

This qualification comprises two compulsory units:

International 1 (otherwise known as CU1B) and International 2 (otherwise known as MIEB) 

Both units are offered in exam sittings taking place in April and October every year.

Please note: To sit this qualification, you must be at least a Student member of the PMI. 

You do not have to apply for a PMI membership separately as the applicable membership price (if required) will be added to you cart when registering for the exam.

For new students or former students returning to the PMI the student membership fee will be £185 and will be valid until 31st August 2026.

Existing student members will not be charged a membership fee at point of exam enrolment but will be invited to renew their membership in 2026.
