This webinar will ask how the ESoG has changed the role of a Pensions Manager / Scheme Secretary and will look at some early scheme governance reviews and gap analysis results. Angela is a lead in the Pensions Management team with experience of DB schemes with assets of over £1billion. She provides outsourced support for in-house pension teams and acts as a scheme secretary to trustee boards.
Angela has a strong understanding of technical elements of pensions legislation and governance. working alongside and coordinating with Chairs of Trustee boards, in house pensions managers and professional advisers.
Barinder Randhawa is Pensions Manager, Barinder tasked with providing outsourced support for in-house pension teams, assisting Trustee Boards, and overseeing various projects.
Barinder has extensive experience in the pensions industry at various levels and has worked with both Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution Schemes.
Paul is a Professional Trustee for DB and DC Pension Schemes, and with 36 years in the Life and Pensions Industry, he is a very experienced pensions manager and scheme secretary. He has a strong governance background, including assisting the DWP in transposing the IORP II requirements, incorporating what we now know as the Effective System of Governance (ESoG) and Own Risk Assessment (ORA).
Peter is a senior pensions manager bringing four decades of experience managing both defined benefit and defined contribution schemes ranging from £100m to £bn+ in assets.
Peter possesses deep technical knowledge in project management, scheme administration, and governance. He has led transformative projects, including redesigning future service benefits in a DB scheme and orchestrating the closure of a DB scheme to future accrual.
